CHRISTMAS / NEW YEARS GARBAGE / RECYCLING SCHEDULE…..
Due to the holiday season garbage and recycling collection will be as follows….December 25th’s Garbage / Recycling will be picked up Thursday, December 26th. January 1st Garbage & Recycling will be picked up Thursday, January 2nd. Please have all garbage / recycling totes placed roadside no later than 7 a.m. the day of collection. Town Board Supervisor Position Appointment….
The Town of Wescott is currently seeking people interested in fullfilling the vacant term of Town Board Supervisor #2. Term would be from date of appointment by Board until April 2021. Parties can submit a letter of interest until January 3, 2020. Letters can be dropped off at the Town Office at Old Keshena Road or mailed to Town of Wescott, PO Box 536, Shawano, WI 54166 or emailed to the Town Clerk, Angela Vreeke at avreeke@townofwescott.com . Tax Collection Hours & Information….
Wescott Office Tax collection hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There is no office tax collection on Fridays or weekends. The Wescott Office will be closed December 24th, 25th, 31st & January 1st. Tax collection hours may also be affected due to severe winter weather. I apologize for any inconvenience. You can also refer to the pink insert that was included with your tax bill for other payment options such as mailing and dropping off at Associated Bank or you can click on the pdf below and view the tax insert. Thanksgiving Recycling & Garbage Pickup…..
Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, Thursday’s Recycling & Garbage collection will be on Wednesday, November 27th. Please have recycling & garbage totes placed curbside no later than 7 a.m. on Wednesday and no earlier than 6 pm on Tuesday evening. Have a Safe and Happy Thanksgiving !
