NO BURNING IN WESCOTT…..

In order to protect the health and safety of the citizens, all burning has been suspended in the Town of Wescott ( there is currently no burning statewide). ALL BURNING IS PROHIBITED AT THIS TIME. Emergency responders and firefighters have an increased need to take pandemic precautions so they remain available to continue to protect the public from wildfires and to reduce the spread of COVID-19. We appreciate your understanding. Remember to report wildfires by dialing 911 immediatly.

Wednesday, April 8, 2020 the Town of Wescott Burnsite will be open from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Only 1 load of brush is pemitted. Please remember to be curteous and practice social distancing. Thank You !


Help Wanted….

The Town of Wescott is currently accepting applications for part-time help at the Wescott Burnsite. This position requires work on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and occasional Wednesday’s.
