On Wednesday, April 12th the Town of Wescott Burn Site will begin it’s Wednesday hours of operation. The burn site is now open on Wednesday’s and Saturday’s from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Any questions, please contact our office at 715-526-9853.
WESCOTT ANNUAL SPRING CLEAN UP WILL BE HELD APRIL 24th THROUGH APRIL 27th ON YOUR REGULAR GARBAGE / RECYCLING PICK UP DAY. The following items will be accepted: 1) Appliances 2) Furniture 3) Scrap Metal 4) Electronic Items (tickets for disposal must be purchased at the Town Office). Please separate all items into piles of like material (metal with metal, furniture with furniture, etc.) Please have all items placed roadside no earlier than 6 p.m. the day before your regular pick up day and no later than 7 a.m. the day of. The Town WILL NOT PICK UP: Tires, yard waste, waste oil, hazardous chemicals or building materials. If you have questions, please contact the Wescott Office at 715-526-9853 ext #0.
To preserve the health and beauty of Wescott Oaks as well as prevent the spread of Oak Wilt, cutting and/or trimming of Oak trees is restricted from April 1st to October 1st. PERMITS FOR CUTTING ANY OAK TREES IS REQUIRED (per ordinance 87-1 & 2-98) ! Permits can be obtained by contacting Wescott Forester, Jeremy Johnson at 715-526-2730 or email firstname.lastname@example.org . Fines will be assessed to violators of this ordinance.
The Town of Wescott Burnsite (located on Oak Park Road off of County Road H) is open to Wescott residents on Wednesday’s & Saturday’s from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Residents may dispose of lake weeds, grass and also clean lumber and brush.
